Atelier Pauline Garcia
Of mixed French, Cuban, and Spanish heritage, Pauline is a Montreal-based jeweller.
From a young age, she travelled the globe, and the rich cultural experiences she witnessed awakened her artistic sensibilities. It was in New Caledonia that she found her home in her early twenties, discovering a vibrant and colourful world. Initially, she expressed her emotions through painting, and later, her vision evolved through photography. Travelling through Oceania, North America, Central America, and Europe, she reconnected with her childhood passion for jewelry making. Feeling the need to further explore her creativity, she then embarked on a journey into the world of fine jewelry.
She graduated in 2026 from the Montreal School of Jewellery, where she developed a sensitive and rigorous practice recognized with two awards of excellence in 2024 and 2025.
Her work stems from a reflection on the link between the body and matter, seeking a balance between traditional techniques and contemporary alternatives, in which jewellery becomes a space for sculptural and symbolic exploration.
Inspired by world arts and a deep connection to nature, she explores in her practice the encounter between instinct and form, between metal and light. Her soul carries the traces of the countries that nurtured her, of New Caledonia, which forged her identity, and of the world, whose colours continue to amaze her day after day.
Each day, she refines her technique and her vision, creating a contrasting blend of organic forms and more structured lines, often inspired by living things, the ocean, and the processes of transformation.
Her creations carry within them a breath of faraway places, a reminiscence of salt, sun, wind, and effervescence.
