LINDSAY MACDONALD
Lindsay MacDonald is a graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an MFA in Designed Objects (2009), and from NSCAD University with a BFA in Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing (2004). She was an artist-in-residence at the Harbourfront Centre metal studio from 2004-2007 and at The Centre for Craft Nova Scotia (2010). She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. Lindsay has been the recipient of national grants and awards such as Best of Jewellery at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (2021), the Lacy West Award for Excellence in Craft (Craft Ontario, 2021) and Best of the East, Biennial Juried Member Exhibition, Craft Ontario, 2019.
An experienced instructor, Lindsay has held teaching appointments at OCAD University, and The Shanghai Commercial School (through Selkirk College). Currently she is teaching at NSCAD University. She maintains an independent studio practice in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, Canada.
